Our client an Electronic Consultancy is seeking a full-time Marketing Executive to be based at their offices just outside Cambridge. You will be working within a small consultancy and events management team.
The role will involve the following functions:
- Marketing Assistant: marketing events to online journals, setting up media agreements to promote events, researching new advertising opportunities, organising promotional mailings and helping with design of literature
- Events Assistant: managing logistics for delegates and speakers, managing registration at events and onsite logistics, organisation of badges, compiling printed materials and handouts for delegates, liaising with and managing exhibitors
- Office Assistant: telephone answering, processing of all new orders into our database, responding and managing email, fulfilling orders, following up sales enquiries
The Ideal Candidate: You must have full working knowledge of Microsoft Office and at least one year`s office-based experience. Conference and event organisation experience would be advantageous, but not essential. The ability to travel to our events (mainly US and Europe) is essential, as is the ability to work independently.
Salary is dependent on experience. Benefits include being closely involved in growing a small-established company and pension contributions.
